Obituary of John Anthony Curci
John Anthony Curci, 92 years of age, of Catonsville, MD, passed away on March 18, 2023.
He is survived by his 2 daughters, Audrey Marie (Brad) Bender of Springfield, VA and Amy Jill (Daniel) Weisgerber of Pasadena, MD, 3 sisters, Julia Theresa Ploughe of Brownsburg, IN, Theresa Julia Haas of Pasadena, MD and Mary Bernadine (Butch) Lichliter of Stevensville, MD, 4 grandchildren, Brandy Michelle Taylor, Gary Michael Weisgerber, Mindy Jill Weisgerber and Erin Diane Bender and 3 great-grandchildren, Logan, Colton and Waylon. He is also survived by 9 loving nieces and 1 nephew and many Cossentino cousins of which there were 49 in total. He is preceded in death by his parents, Albert & Amelia Curci.
John was born in Baltimore, MD to Albert & Amelia on June 13, 1930. He went to St. Patrick's high school and after serving in the USMC during the Korean War, attended the University of MD where he earned a degree in Engineering.
He learned his cabinetry skills at an early age and was self-employed using those skills. Later on in life he became a realtor. John was always learning. He enjoyed artistry, scrabble, magic, playing the piano and just last year at the age of 92, he completed building a 4 ft. remote-controlled fire boat complete with shooting water. He made many friends at Charlestown (Erickson) Senior Living and especially enjoyed sharing Sunday mornings with the brunch bunch.
