Obituary of Stuart Wilson Scherer

Stuart Wilson Scherer of Catonsville, Maryland, passed away peacefully on March 5, 2023, at his childhood home. Stuart is survived by his Mother, Barbara Scherer of Catonsville, Maryland & her partner Bill Korb; his Father, Mark Scherer of Parkville, Maryland & his wife Edith Bardoquillo Scherer; his twin Brother, Henry Scherer of Halethorpe, Maryland; his Sister, Audrey Scherer of Denver, Colorado; his Paternal Grandmother, Myrna Scherer, his step-siblings EJ, Mar Vyn, and Tricia and their families; many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and treasured lifelong friends; and his furry, four-legged “best friend and (not so) little guy” Zeke. 

Stuart was born to Barbara and Mark Scherer in Parkville, Maryland on October 10, 1994. He attended high school at Catonsville High, graduated in 2012 and went on to work a variety of jobs until following his passion for cars and becoming a Toyota mechanic. Stuart was recently looking forward to pursuing his interests further as an auto body apprentice. He also loved listening to music, spending time with his friends, sharing memes, and asking all of us life’s hard questions, like “What is your favorite dinosaur?”

Visitation will be held at Loudon Park Funeral Home on Tuesday, March 14 from 2:00-4:00pm and 6:00-8:00pm, followed by a prayer service at Loudon Park on Wednesday, March 15 at 11:00am. 

Memorial donations may be made in Stuart’s name to BARCS Animal Shelter’s Frankie Fund, where Zeke received care prior to his adoption, or to The MusicianShip.
