Obituary of Florence E O'Connor

Florence Evelyn O’Connor, 92, of Baltimore, Maryland passed away on February 26, 2023, in Baltimore, Maryland.

Florence leaves behind her children, Patricia (Richard) Armstrong, Edward (Janet) O’Connor and Timothy (Charleen) O’Connor, her grandchildren, Elizabeth (Jon) Felmey, Rebecca Armstrong, Matthew (Nina) O’Connor, Patrick (Andrea) O’Connor and Charlie O’Connor as well as her great-grandchildren (who adoringly called her “Gigi”), Kayla Ward, Connor Felmey, Adam O’Connor, Camden Felmey, Dylan Ward, Cole Felmey, John O’Connor, Gavin O’Connor, Ava Sturgill and Evelyn Florence O’Connor as well as many other family members.

Florence is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Charles O’Connor, her parents, Nelson and Alberta Pape and her siblings Ginny Russo, Hilda Carnaggio, William Pape and Charles Pape as well as many other family members.

Florence loved her family fiercely and enjoyed gardening, baking, fishing, crabbing and spending time on the beach in Ocean City, Maryland. She had a wonderful smile, a caring and kind heart, a contagious laugh and a beautiful (and sometimes mischievous) sparkle in her eye. She lit up any room she was in, and she will be profoundly missed.

Visitation will be held at Loudon Park Funeral Home on Monday, March 6 from 10 am – 12 noon.

In lieu of flowers, Memorial donations may be made to Boys Town or to The Village at Augsburg.
