Obituary of Patrica Gallagher-Thompson
Patricia Adeline Gallagher Thompson passed away peacefully on January 3,
2023.
Patricia’s earthly life began in Port of Spain, Trinidad on April 9, 1941.
She was a skilled and creative seamstress and designed her own clothes. Those
who knew her came to recognize her talent for sewing and her sense of style.
Patricia eventually migrated to Baltimore, Maryland.
Patricia’s work ethic was outstanding and this was evident at CHRIST CHURCH
HARBOR APARTMENTS where she worked for 23 years as secretary and then
as Assistant Manager. It was to this familiar building she returned in order to
live out the rest of her life after the passing of her beloved husband, Calvin.
She was a firm believer in her Roman Catholic faith and attended Mass
regularly at the National Shrine of St. Alphonsus Liguori located on Saratoga
Street in Baltimore.
Patricia Gallagher Thompson is survived by her daughters: Michele, Sharon,
Mercedes; sons: Raphael, Gerard, Andre and Neil; nieces, nephews,
grandchildren and great-grandchildren as well as friends.
She was preceded in death by her three husbands: Calvin Thompson, John
Gallagher, and Henri Telfer; her parents, Oscar Forde and Rowena Ferreira;
sister, Gloria, brother, Roland, and most recently her son, Peter Telfer
(10/15/2021).
Our Mom’s last text was “Thanks for prayers and love. A rough road but God
knows best. I am ready to go to Heaven. Love always.”
