Obituary of Barbara Newell
Barbara Ellen (GeeHee) Newell, 77, of Westminster MD, passed away on Tuesday, November 29, 2022, at Mercy Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland.
Barbara is survived by her loving husband Walter of Westminster, MD, daughters Amy Meloche, and her husband Kyle, and Kari Newell, and her grandchildren Emma and Chloe Meloche.
Barbara is preceeded in death by her son David Newell.
Barbara was born in Baltimore, Maryland to Roland and Margaret Stevens on January 18, 1945. She went to Catonsville High School and graduated in 1963.
Barbara loved spending time with her grandchildren and was an avid reader and quilter.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, December 6, 2022, at Loudon Park Funeral Home, 3620 Wilkens Avenue, Baltimore, MD 21229. Visitation will begin at 8am, with a service in the chapel at 9am with Deacon Ed Whitesell officiating. Burial will be at Loudon Park Cemetery at 10am.
