Obituary of Lillian N Sadler

Lillian N. Sadler (nee Lockwich) 92 of Halethorpe, MD passed away on November 27, 2022 at her daughter’s home in Pasadena, MD surrounded by her loving family.

Lillian is survived by her daughter Deborah Floyd (Gary), Jacqueline Koslosky (Kevin), Paula Raines (Warren), James Sadler (Patti), John Sadler (Karen), Bob Sadler (Ann), and Joan Sadler. She is also survived by her 15 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.  Lillian was preceded in death by her husband Shelton her daughter Karen Kopp and her brothers John and Edward Lockwich.

Lillian was born on February 1, 1930 in Baltimore Maryland to Peter and Petrone Lockwich. She was a dedicated homemaker and loving mother of 8 children. Lillian enjoyed camping, fishing, bowling, putt putt golf, playing cards and bingo.  She also was an enthusiastic gardener as well as an avid sports fan.  She loved to cheer on the Orioles, Ravens and Terrapins.  She also enjoyed being part of the Fantasy Football League with her late daughter Karen. They were known as the Dynamic Duo.

A viewing will take place on Thursday December 1 from 5pm-8pm at Loudon Park Funeral Home 3620 Wilkins Avenue.  A funeral mass of Christian burial will be held at Ascension Church located 1527 Potomac Avenue on Friday December 2 at 10am. Burial will follow at Loudon Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Hospice of the Chesapeake Foundation, John and Cathy Belcher Campus, 90 Ritchie Highway, Pasadena, MD 21122 or to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
