Obituary of Jason Michael Caviness

***Everyone is welcome to arrive at Loudon Park Funeral Home by 12:45-12:50, and everyone can follow the hearse into the cemetery at 1pm.***

Jason Michael Caviness, 43 years old, passed away on Wednesday, October 26, 2022, in Baltimore County, Maryland.

Jason was survived by Dianna “Bo” Clark, daughters Bella Caviness, and Kayla Shiflett, son Brandon Shiflett, sister Melissa Rappold, brother Bobby Caviness, dad Charles “Buddy” Gaylord III, granddaughter Delilah Holthaus, nieces Destiny and Savannah White, nephew Seth Rappold, aunts Mary Meadows and Sue Fink, Uncle Bruce Raeke, and many more loving family and friends.

Jason was preceded in death by his mother Diana Gaylord, father Garland D. Caviness, mother-in-law  Dianna Lynn Clark, and grandparents Bruce and Shirley Raeke, and Clarence “Gramps” Rooney.

Jason was born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland. He studied graphic design and was extremely artistic. He was a dedicated Ravens and Orioles fan, and he loved shooting pool, fishing, crabbing, and singing Karaoke.

Services will be held at Loudon Park Cemetery, 3620 Wilkens Ave., Baltimore, MD 21229, on Friday, November 4, 2022, at 1pm. Everyone is invited to meet at Loudon Park Funeral Home between 12:45pm-12:50pm so everyone can follow the funeral procession into the cemetery at 1pm. You can come inside or back your vehicle in a parking spot, wait until 1pm, and follow behind the hearse as it pulls around the front of the funeral home.

As mentioned above, in lieu of flowers, donations can be made towards Jason’s funeral services by calling 410-644-1900. Ask to speak to the funeral home when the operator answers. Please call between 8:30am – 4:30pm.
