









Obituary of Michael Dennis Dawson
On Tuesday, June 14, 2022, Michael Dennis Dawson passed away at St. Agnes Hospital. He was 72 years of age.
Michael (known as Dennis) was born on March 7, 1950, in Baltimore Maryland, to his parents, William Warren Dawson Sr. and Mary Genevieve Dawson (nee Rausch). He attended St Joseph’s Monastery for elementary school, and Mergenthaler Vocational-Technical High School. He then was in the National Guard and worked at Filberts/Unilever for over 40 years before retiring.
Michael loved to cook, enjoyed spending time with his family, was a caregiver to his mother and uncle at times, and was also a member at Wynnwood Swim Club.
Michael (Dennis) is survived by his son Dennis Michael Dawson; daughter Stacey Marie Dawson; brother Thomas Timothy Dawson and wife Barbara; sister-in-law Gail Doll Dawson; nephews Warren Dawson, Dennis Dawson, and Thomas Dawson; nieces Erin Remsburg and Robin Dawson. He is also survived by his sister-in-law Janet Parks and Sandra Parks. He is fondly remembered by his best friend, John Maher.
Michael is preceded in death by his wife of 40 years, Michele Marie Dawson, son Keith Matthew Dawson, parents William and Mary (Gen) Dawson, brother William Warren Dawson, niece Beth M. Dawson, nephews Timothy Dawson and Patrick Dawson, and brother-in-law Donald Parks
Funeral services are being held on Tuesday, June 21, 2022, at Loudon Park Funeral Home, 3620 Wilkens Avenue, Baltimore, MD, 21229.The Visitation will begin at 11:00 am, and the Prayer/Funeral service will begin at 12 Noon in the Funeral Home Chapel.The burial will be at New Cathedral Cemetery, 4300 Old Frederick Road, Baltimore, MD at approximately 1:00 pm.
A Celebration of Life will immediately follow the burial ceremony., information to follow shortly.
