Charles Russell (Charlie) Morris Sr., 82, of Baltimore MD, passed away peacefully on March 1, 2022 with his sons at his side.


Charlie is survived by his sister Lydia Glass, son Charles R. (Chuck) Morris Jr., daughter in law Melissa Morris, Son Vernon B. Morris and daughter in law Jennifer Morris, along with Grandchildren Joseph Morris, Amanda Morris, Steven Morris, and Brian Morris as well as his first wife & Mother of his Sons, Joyce Bowersox. 
Charlie is preceded in death by his wife Melva Insley Morris, parents Vernon Byron Sr and Gladys (White) Morris, brothers Vernon Byron Jr & Elmer (Ed) Morris and sisters Eloise Backof & Beverly McFalls. Charlie was a proud employee of the State of MD.  Charlie had a life of service as a volunteer Firefighter/EMT with a career spent at Violetville VFD, Ferndale VFD and was a Life Member of Arbutus VFD.
