Obituary of Betty Wassmann

Beatrice Mary "Betty" Wassmann, 93, of Catonsville, Maryland, passed away peacefully on February 5, 2022 at her home.

Betty is survived by her daughters Cynthia Mellendick (Bill) of Ellicott City, Maryland and Joan Corrao (John) of Ocean View, Delaware; grandchildren Billy Mellendick (Lori), Lindy Glassman (Chris), Joey Mellendick (Lara), Megan Welsch (Tom), Andrew Corrao (Amber Patrick) and Danny Mellendick (Katie). She is also survived by great-grandchildren Nicholas (Bre), Caroline, Lily, Ryan, Emily, Trent, Elin, Camden, Austin, Mason, Poppy, Mateo; great-grandchild Nico and niece Mary Beth Krause.She is preceded in death by her husband, Frederick and parents Mary and Ambrose Laukaitis, sister Majorie Schultheis and nephew Bobby Wilderman.

Betty was born in Baltimore, Maryland on February 19,1928. She attended Catonsville High school. She was happily married for 64 years and loved by many.

 

Funeral services will be private and a celebration of life will be held in the spring.
