Obituary of Shirley Stonesifer

ith profound sadness we announce the passing of Shirley Stonesifer, our loving and devoted mother/grandmother/great grandmom and friend to all whose lives she touched, on Friday, January 28, 2022.  She left us peacefully in her sleep after complications with some chronic health conditions. Her final days were spent surrounded by her family. She was an incredible Woman, Wife, Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother.  This world was a better place with her in it.

Shirley is survived by her three children, five grandchildren, one great grandchild and her poodle Maggie.  She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 25 years, her parents, siblings, granddaughter and her beloved Shih-Tzu "Buddy". 

GMom/Gam'ma as she was affectionately known, will always be remembered to the delight of her grandchildren for her New England accent and the unique way she pronounced certain words. Shirley loved spending time with her grandchildren and her great grandson, jewelry beading, crocheting, doing puzzles, watching Pup Academy, The Waltons, Little House on the Prairie and Hallmark movies. 

Shirley will be forever missed by us all.

Family and friends are to meet at the funeral home at 9:30AM before proceeding to the cemetery.
