Obituary of Donald R Irons

      Donald R Irons, 92, of Catonsville, MD passed away Wednesday January 19, 2022. He was born March 20, 1929, in Johnstown, PA, the son of the late Harry and Margaret T. (Holsinger) Irons. He joined the ROTC during high school and tested into the Aviation Electronics School. He was a US Navy veteran and graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with a BSEE. Mr. Irons was employed as a supply specialist in the steel industry. He was an avid tennis player with many local tournament wins. He was a member of the Linthicum UMC for many years and now a member of Charlestown United Protestant Church.

 Mr. Irons is survived by his wife Cora Jean (Dishong) Irons, his son Brian Irons and three grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his daughter Donna Irons Giles.
