Obituary of Elizabeth "Betsy" Yeaton

Elizabeth “Betsy” Yeaton, our beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin
and friend was called home on Saturday, January 15, 2022.

Betsy was born November 30, 1944 to the late Norman and Virginia Powell.
She was educated in Baltimore County/City Public Schools and graduated from Catonsville High School in 1962.She enjoyed working for a variety of companies such as Liberty Medical System, Quest diagnostic, CitiFinancial/OneMain Financial to name a few.
She made many friends throughout her years at Toastmasters, ASTD now known as ATD, and The
Women of the Moose, Riviera Beach Volunteer Fire Company. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grand-daughters and great-grandchildren,
crocheting, talking on the phone, eating crabs and burnt grilled hotdogs. She enjoyed dancing to “PrettyWoman” at the Glen Burnie Moose Lodge and volunteering at the Riviera Beach Fire Department carnival with her great-grandson, Marqus.

She was proceeded in death by her parents Norman and Virginia Powell, her sister Mary Powell, her son Michael Lane and her grand-daughter Trisha Lane.

She leaves to cherish her memory to her two sons, Mark Lane (Colleen), Matthew Lane (Laura), her
brother John Powell (Sally), grand-daughters Tabitha Lane, Krystyna Lane, Heather Tingler (Mike), Nikki Wilson (Christopher), Jennifer Potter (Nick), Tressa Lane and 22 great-grandchildren. A host of nieces,nephews, cousins and other relatives. Also by her devoted friend Dottie Richardson.
She will be dearly missed for her soft loving heart and beautiful smile.

Services will be Monday, January 24, 2022 at 11am at Loudon Park Funeral Home. Friends are invited to join the family at Riviera Beach Volunteer Fire Department located at 8506 Fort Smallwood Rd,Pasadena, MD 21122 following the service.
