Uncle Brian’s devotion and love for his family was second to none. I remember he always had the biggest grin on his face whenever he visited his Chicago family, as well as some playful bantering going on between my Dad (his brother Rick) and him. I still remember him surprising his mom on her birthday at the Olive Garden, and the look of sheer joy on his face when he realized she had no idea he was coming in from Baltimore!
He also always spoke with such pride about his kids (Bonnie and Greg) and his wife, my Aunt Maureen. I know Uncle Brian would do anything for his family, and he did. He had such a tremendous love for his family, and I will miss him dearly. I know Grandma and Grandpa Howard were waiting for him with open arms as he passed through Heaven’s gates.
Thinking and sending love to you all, Aunt Maureen, Greg, Bonnie, Cindy & Noelle.

So many memories. The themes would be “Love of Family” & “The Protector”. Brian always went the extra mile.
His boyhood started in that Knotty Pine room that was built by his GRANDPA. Brian definitely inherited his craftsmanship & perfectionism from him.
Brian always talked about how lucky he was to have grown up in such a loving family. He took pride in the Lessons he learned from his DAD & MOM.
In adulthood Brian entered the Navy. And then there was “MAUREEN” - “The Light of His Life.” The adventure of Parenthood began!! BONNIE & GREG were the “Blessings of their Life” Brian was so proud of all their accomplishments.
Rick has many fond memories of going to Maryland & staying with them in their Row House. Brian would request that Rick make a pizza - the “Howard Way” (which of course was the Chicago way with extra everything)!
In the late 70’s Brian & Maureen went to California to visit Rick. They went to Big Bear Mountain……, Rick dropped them off for a day at Disneyland. Rick stated that whenever family came to visit the weather was perfect in Los Angelos. He was sure that it was family that brought the good weather! Rick still remembers the Mickey Mouse back scratcher that he received in the mail.
We remember when when Bonnie took her Dad to the “Father/Daughter school dance. They were both beaming of happiness! Bonnie & Greg are both shining examples of compassion and kindness!!
Then came CINDY- who caught Greg’s heart! They blessed Brian & Maureen with a Granddaughter! NOELLE is such a Blessing! The Love Story goes on!
Brian will continue to be eternally in his family’s heart - there truly is no end to “FAMILY LOVE”. ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️

We were so glad we got to meet Brian at Greg and Cindy's wedding. He was so proud and happy to tell Lee and I all about his wonderful family. It takes a great man and dad to raise a beautiful family and that he did! While we were talking, a rainbow covered the sky celebrating this blessed event.
With deepest sympathy, Lee and Ro

I'm so glad my little sister met her handsome sailor man nearly 50 years ago. God brought them together to begin this beautiful love story. Their love gave us Bonnie and Greg. Then Greg and Cindy's love gave us Noelle. A family Brian and Maureen loves dearly. Holidays were extra special in their home. Better than a Hallmark movie. So much joy and laughter. Unfortunately, this Christmas was not like the others. Maureen stayed strong all day long for little Noelle. After Greg's family left, she fell apart, because the love of her life was in pain and so weak. Because of Brian's love for Maureen, he bravely faced his fate. I know if he had the power to stay, he would, but only God's will determines that. As sad as it is for this love story to end, God graciously gave Maureen and her family precious time with Brian to express their love and appreciation. Sadly for Brian's family, the bigger their love for him, the deeper the loss. I pray God mends your broken hearts with His amazing grace and abiding love.
Love,
Aunt Bev
