Obituary of Patricia Ann Flathman

On October 25, 2021, Patricia “Pat” Flathman (Birrane), of Cheswold, DE (formerly of Kent Island and Maryland City, MD) passed away at the age of 82. Pat was a devoted wife, mother and Mom-Mom to her husband Bob who predeceased her, her 3 children, Robby Flathman, Mary Donelan, and Mark Flathman, as well as her 8 grandchildren. Pat was born in Baltimore, MD on May 13, 1939, and lived in and around MD most of her life. She loved her children with all her heart and spent her time with them supporting all their activities over the years. She built lifelong friendships with her friends and even their children from her days in Maryland City. She also enjoyed years of travel with her husband Bob and the Shillelagh’s Flying Club or traveling around in their RV. As a member of the Catholic church, Pat has made her ascension to Heaven to be reunited with Bob, other loved ones and friends that are waiting there to greet her. We will miss her here with us but know she is back in God’s care and peaceful in her journey. A visitation will be held at Loudon Park Funeral Home, 3620 Wilkens Avenue, Baltimore, MD 21229, on Friday, November 5, 2021, from 11am-1pm, at which time the Funeral Service will begin. Interment at Loudon Park Cemetery immediately following services. Masks are required in the Funeral Home.
