Obituary of Edwin W. Dalrymple

Obituary Edwin Wallace “Luke” Dalrymple, III, passed away suddenly on January 16th, 2021, at the age of 45. Luke was the beloved son of Edwin “Wally” and Nancy Dalrymple and the late Carole J. Dalrymple. He was the adored brother of Darcie Dalrymple Kennedy (& John) and the cherished step-brother of Michael Boryk, John Boryk (& Veronica), and Cristine Evans LoVetro (& Cedonia). Luke will be remembered by his aunt, Sandra Taylor (& Ed), his uncle, Dan Jackson, his cousins, nephews, and many friends. Luke will be deeply missed by his dear and devoted friend Tina Taylor. Luke was preceded in death by his mother, Carole J. Dalrymple, and his grandparents, Edwin and Sarah Dalrymple and Dale and Doris Fritz. Luke loved the Chesapeake Bay and spending time on the boat with his Dad. He enjoyed riding his Harley, watching documentaries, and exercising. Luke absolutely adored his beloved boxer, Archie. Luke could tell a story like no one else. Bright-eyed and towering above us, he captivated his audience with his creativity, fantastic sense of humor, and tales of his unusual predicaments. He always had a story, a joke, and a smile. His loved ones will miss his tight bear hugs, his gentle and kind demeanor, and his easy-going nature. Luke was a lifelong resident of Pasadena. He graduated from Chesapeake High School and the Center for Applied Technologies North in 1994. For many years he operated his own business, Quality Services, and then was a Superintendent for Promacs Project Management and Construction Services. Luke loved his job and took great pride in the work that he did with Ron Steele. Although Luke is gone from our sight, he will live on in our hearts forever. He was truly one of a kind. In lieu of flowers, you may make a donation to the SPCA of Anne Arundel County, 1815 Bay Ridge Avenue, Annapolis, MD 21403, to honor Luke’s affection for his beloved dog, Archie. As a result of the COVID-19 restrictions, arrangements through Loudon Park Funeral Home will be private and by invitation only. The family will plan a Celebration of Luke’s Life when the weather warms and the virus subsides. At that time, we will gather together, share stories, raise a glass, and smile in remembrance of our Luke, beloved son, brother, and friend. www.loudonparkfuneralhome.com To send sympathy gifts to the family or plant a tree in memory of Edwin W.
